ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS

 

Monthly meetings - Once a month we meet to discuss club business and go over the calendar and vote on activities for the coming months.  We also try to end with a topic discussion or a scheduled speaker.  Our meeting takes place on the first Wednesday of every month.

 

Field trips- Twice a month we have scheduled outings for moms & kids.  Our past field trips included: visit to farms, train rides, local tours: ice cream shop, McDonalds tour, pizza place, zoo trips,

 

Playgroups- Join one of our several playgroups to fit your child’s age & best interest.

 

Cooking club- Every other month, bring a dish & its recipe for an afternoon of taste testing, exchanging recipes and socialization for moms & kids.

 

Holiday Parties- Experience one of our holiday party events. Including holiday, harvest, Easter and Fourth of July. These are huge well-loved events, afternoons filled with food, crafts, games & fun, fun, fun.

Moms Night outs-  Twice  a month, moms get together for dinner, movies, socialization or other activities. 

 

Sunshine Club-

 

Speakers -We can enjoy guest speakers that visit us and teach us a valuable parenting or safety skill, or even just a new craft! Past speakers include:

 

Book Club- Love to read? Join this group in reading the months selection and meet the last weds of the month to discuss the book.

 

Lunch bunches - A monthly outing to a kid friendly location.  Past locations include:  Burger King, McDonald's, Chuck E Cheeses, local parks

 

Scrapbook club – where are your photos?  Join this group to learn how to scrapbook, get work done on your own book or meet to chat and organize your photos into albums of your own.
